Give
Our God is a giving God.
He willingly gave His only Son as a sacrifice on the cross for our sins (John 3:16), lovingly offers the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ to all who will believe (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8), and generously gives us everything we need to live a full and abundant life (Romans 8:32; John 10:10).
As God’s children, we should desire to give.
Our giving is a reflection of the character of God.
Giving is a response of gratitude for all God has done for us.
Giving of our resources is the biblical means for funding the furtherance of the gospel.
God loves a cheerful giver.
