CORE Groups

What are CORE Groups?

CORE Groups are small groups designed to complement our corporate worship by connecting people in similar life stages, providing a place to discuss how God’s Word applies to daily life, and stimulating growth through fellowship and discipleship.

Our purpose: GROWING TOGETHER

  • GROWING – We want to be growing spiritually. CORE members will challenged to grow in their personal walk with Christ.

  • TOGETHER – We want to be growing in fellowship & developing closer relationships with other believers.

  • GROWING TOGETHER – We want to do this together, not just as individuals, but as a body of believers, the true community that God designed the church to be.

When and where do they meet?

CORE Groups meet weekly on Wednesdays from May-August in the home of a CBC member. They often meet monthly during the rest of the calendar year. CORE Groups are designed to meet in casual and comfortable locations to foster greater friendship and discipleship.

What do they study?

The discussion time is based on application questions from the Sunday morning message. Didn’t make it to the Sunday morning service? No problem. Listen to the message online HERE so you’re ready for a meaningful conversation about your walk with Christ.

What about my kids?

Each CORE Group takes a turn ministering to the children at the church to free up the parents in the other CORE Groups to meet in their respective homes.
